How do I submit to gigs?

Submitting to gigs is easy, you simply send your EPK to the promoter.

An EPK is an Electronic Profile Kit – a file that holds all your music, video clips, pictures, bio, press clippings, flyers, gig calendar and all relevant information about your music.

You can also have links on your EPK to your website, MySpace, Facebook and Twitter, as well as an EPK linking code which you can put on any of your pages to direct people to your own EPK.

When you submit to a gig, your EPK is automatically sent to the promoter, who then has all the information they need.

How do I cancel my subscription?

As per Gig Launch's terms and conditions (available here, Section 26), thirty days is required to cancel a monthly subscription.

Optionally, you can provide helpful feedback to Gig Launch by filling in this form and sending it through to Our Support Team.

If you are still in your free one month trial, accounts can be deleted immediately or two days before you are due to be debited your first charge.

How do I know my EPK
will be viewed?

As a condition of working with Gig Launch, Promoters agree to view all EPK’s submitted to their gig.

With each gig you submit to, you will be sent either an Approved, Declined or Enquiry message after the promoter has viewed your EPK.

How do I pay for my gig
submissions?

When you sign up to Gig Launch we ask for your credit card details. One, for security and two, so you can submit to gigs easily. When you submit to a gig your credit card is debited the submission fee, therefore saving you the hassle of having to type in all your details each time you want to submit.

Creating your account

My Username

Your username is the name you will be known by site wide to artists, promoters, administration and to the general public via artist epk and search .

For artists your performing name or band name is highly recommended.

Usernames must be lower case with no blank spaces or punctuation.

If a space between words is required use a dash.
Example: "user-name'

Logging Into Your Account

How do I log in to my account?

I have Lost my Password

After your first failed log in attempt, you will see a warning message "sorry incorrect password" and to the right of the message a "recover password" button. By clicking this button an email will be sent to your account email address with your password.

If you cannot remember your password at all - enter any digits into the password field.

My Account

Can I change my password ?
You sure can. When you’ve logged into your account select the “My Account” tab and click on Change. Enter your new password, then click on Update. Users can use the remember me feature on your internet browser for convenience.

How do I change my email address?

To change your email address Log In to your account, go to My Account tab and click the change button. You can also edit your address details here as well. Please remember to click the "update" button when finished.

How do I update my credit card details?

To change your credit card details Log In to your account, go to "My Account" tab, on the left menu click "Credit Card" then click the change button. Please remember to click the "update" button when finished.

My Profile

How do I change my profile details?

To edit your Artist/Band name, Genres, Where I will preform, My locality, Where I will preform, Log In to your account, go to "My Profile" tab, then click the change button. Please remember to click the "update" button when finished.

How do I add more genre options?

To add more than the 3 default genre options, Log In to your account, go to "My Profile" tab, then click the "change button". Above your Artist/Band name click "Add New Genre" You can add up to 4 extra genres. To delete a genre click the blank space from the drop down list. Please remember to click the "update" button when finished.

How do I hide my email address ?

If you do not want to be emailed from your EPK, Log In to your account, go to "My Profile" tab, then click on "change" button. On the right hand side under "settings" you can tick or untick the feature that you would like to show in your EPK. Please remember to click the "update" button when finished.

MY EPK

How do I link my EPK to my website, myspace or other website?

To link your EPK to another website, Log In to your account, go to "My Freebies" tab, then on the left hand side menu click on "EPk Linking Code" there you will find several code options.

How do I view my EPK?

To view your EPK, Log In to your account, go to "My EPK" tab, and click "View My EPK" button on the bottom right.

Why can't I see my EPK?

Make sure your EPK is set to "ON". Log In to your account, go to "My EPK" tab, Check the status of your EKP, Click on the "Turn EPK ON" button to make your EPK live. A Red dot will show if your EPK is off and a green dot if your EPK is on.

How do I change the template on my EPK?

Log In to your account, go to "My EPK" tab, Click on the "Edit View Details" button, 3rd blue box down is EPK Style, click the drop down list to make your selection.
